Thick Wavy hair!need haircut ideas!?

i get my haircut n a few weeks...my hairstylist usually has it @ shoulder length, tips flipping out,only a couple of layers(u can't tell),n she thins it out(but it grows bak), n bangs that grow long WAY 2 fast. My hair is UBER thick(no kidn). when my bangs get long they start to wave a funky way. i dont really hav a flat iron-i hav a barrel iron tat i use(evn tho its made 2 curl i cant afford a flat iron). when i put my hair n a ponytail it is so thick i need TONS o gel. the hairstyle i hav now isnt me-im more of a KINDA punkish grl-but i dont think my parents would lemme color my hair...so Thnx nn try 2 include pics er sites.
