Good gel for fohawks?

Ya I been trying a scupturing gel (Suave) to try and make a fohawk, but everytime I use it, it makes my hair look way to gelly. Like even when I put a little bit, it doesn't work out at ALL! Like I get my hands damp then I put a little squeeze of gel and I use it, but it will look too gelly. It looks like I put way too much gel when I used just a little bit. Is there gel that is more like liquidy and watery then all sticky and thick and its STRONG? Also, maybe something that is able to buy locally (Bartell Drugs or Walgreens).

Try PUMP IT UP STIFF!! hair gel. You can find it at wal-mart, cvs, walgreens and all beauty supply stores.

Use a wax or putty instead of a gel....you can get some great ones

Bedhead is a good on, and you can get a really strong one...what u wanna do is go into a local shop that sells hair stuff, like priceline and tell them what you want to do with your hair and they will help...dont buy anything that will melt easy and make your hair look greasy
