If you don't want to use glue, the next best thing is natural unflavored gelatin. Mix it up with hot water, put your head on it's side and put your hair in a mohawk against a flat surface and brush it on.

dont know where all these answers are coming from but speaking as someone who actually had a moheek though an age ago , the answer you are looking for is just plain old soap , yeah thats right , my moheek was a foot long so you should be allright ! just wet the soap bar , not too much and drag it against your hair up from your skull , you can even twist it into seperate spikes at the top if you want , looks good , stays strong and even smells nice !! have fun !!!!!!!!!!!

We did this style in my salon for a local theater production... tricky, sticky, but turned out awesome!

Start with blowing hair dry straight up, or better yet, by yourself - head between your knees blowing the hair down away from the head. We used a light pomade to smooth the hair up towards the faux hawk and pinned with bob pins. Last, to get the spikey look, I mixed egg whites and a superhold gel to produce some stiff structure. Use a blow dryer on low to dry the spiked areas.

Worked out well and the eggwhite mixture is not damaging - plus, washes out with one shampoo when you add a teaspoon of baking soda to your regular shampoo.

Blowdry it upside-down, then pin it up into a mohawk while hairspraying the crap out of it. You should use a cheap hairspray, and you'll probably use up the entire bottle.

Hello, my tip would be using a product called DAX. It's a gel type product that WILL hold your hair in place ALL NIGHT! It's not particularly easy to remove though and can take several washes (continuous) but is extremely easy to use and does work. Speaking as someone who's had a variety of severely difficult to style haircuts... I can recommend this on experience... but please do note that it is hard to remove (but won't damage hair).

use a get spray there really good INSET do one and use there hair spray as well this should keep it in for days....lol

try putting ur hair in tiny bobbles all they way down the middle of ur head and then back comb the hair this works really well

ooooo and practise makes perfect so try doing it before the day and experiment with colour hair sprays as well for a punk affect
