Hair help for black hair?

My 3yr old daughter has hair that has small corkscrews all the way down the hairshaft. It's extremely dry. If I put gel on it, it will look shiny and curly, but I don't like the way it feels and it's very drying. I was considering letting her wear her hair out to a wedding and I am trying to find a really good leave in conditioner and hair products for her to wear her hair out. Her hair is not kinky, but if it's brushed too much it will look that way because it'll be dry looking and puffy. I find that manipulating it with my fingers and a very wide comb is best. I've looked on many beauty sites for black hair and all the suggestions do not seem to work. I use Infusium 23 Leave In right now, and shampoo and condition with Pantene Relaxed and Natural. My daughter and I are both black, but her hair is like my husband's and totally different from mine, so I need a little help. If anyone has this hair type, what do you use?!?

Hair help for black hair?

try using some oil sheen on her hair, not too much you don't want it to look greasy, but just enough to make her curls look pretty. you could even try using Biosilk, it makes the hair nice %26amp; smooth, but you can only find it in salons or beauty supply stores.

If you need any more help feel free to ask, or visit my forum:

Hair help for black hair?

I dont have this hair type but a friend of mine does and she uses hand lotion, just a small amount on her hair. She says this is the only thing that works for her.

Hair help for black hair?

I use Vive for Women of Color Shampoo/Conditioner sometimes, but mostly I use Nexxus conditioners. They are awesome, and with their use the dryness will decrease. Also, oils help, but they are very short term. Use something light, or make your own with tee tree oils and other ingredients. For her, I would recommend getting BBD Stretch, which is a leave in moisturizer/conditioner for dry hair. It helps the hair to retain the moisture and will help with the tightness.

Hair help for black hair?

you should try using Sun-Silk defrizzing Leave in, or try some of the Garnier Fructis moose, and leave-in.

Hair help for black hair?

i suggest that you try hair products for black children. my mother buys them for my 3 brothers... they all have different hair. the 12 year old's hair is really, REALLY thick and kinda spongy. the 10 year old's hair is really wavy and not as thick. the 8 year old's hair is really thick and more course than the other 2. my mother tries a lot of different stuff to find what works best. motions for kids is okay... i can't remember the one she has now but this stuff is okay for all types of black hair. i braid all of their hair twice a month and we like to do it in a timely manner... to blow dry after the wrong shampoo and conditioner could be a real big fight! don't be afraid to experiment to find what works best for your baby girl. as stylists and the people who work in the beauty supply stores near you... they have to know the products. good luck!

p.s. try not to use gel in your daughter's hair a lot... it could be damaging. my aunt uses something called "noodle head" to keep her hair soft and curly all day without using mousse or gel. i haven't tried it but she has told me more than once that it is a really good product. also, when using leave in conditioners, try not to use liquid ones... they tend to dry the hair out a little more than the "lotion" types.

Hair help for black hair?

try these tips...... they relle work!!

Hair Wash

The best way of washing hair is with Aritha and Shikakai Powder. It does not have any chemicals or any other side effects. Aritha and Shikakai powder is available at any General stores or even a banyan shop.

Shampoos

Dry Hair - Egg, Herbal shampoo or any shampoo for dry hair.

Normal Hair - For normal hair fruit shampoos or henna shampoo is good.

Oily Hair - Lemon Shampoo

Hair Oil

Oil your hair at least once in a week. If you have dry hair then oil it twice a week. Hair oil gives the necessary moisturizers to your hair. Herbal hair oil provides you the necessary nourishment along with the moisturizers.

Hair Conditioners

Henna

Henna conditions and colours your hair.

Dry hair - Add some milk, water and 1-2egg yolks in henna. This mixture will not dry your hair and will make it soft and manageable. Apply it monthly.

Normal to Oily Hair 閳?Add water, lemon, egg yolks in henna. You can apply Henna fortnightly.

Home made conditioners

Add 褰?cup of vinegar in 闄?bucket of water. This will give a good shine to your hair. Mix curds and egg yolks together and apply it for 1hour.

Hair Tonics

Try tonic Hair Oil閳ユ獨 powder - Put 4 tsp of this powder in water, boil it and after cooling down apply it on hair. This will stop hair loss, rejuvenate and nourish your hair.

My hair is a MESS....and I need to fix everything!!! Can someone help me?

My side swept bangs are a mess and they stick out everwhere evne with gel, hairspray, and whatever I use. and my hair is just....I cant even describe it...I'm trying to make my hair grow longer before May or July for a big event of mines.

- I need smoother hair....will Sunsilk straightening shampo/ condtioner help? [ I dont use panteene nor dove]

- How do I get my hair on the bottom to thin out more and more? The back of my hair is too puffy and sticks out. The picture is I want the bottom of my hairs to look like split ends and be thinner...wayyy thinner......[ i know, why would i want that right?...oh well...i think it looks cool]

-[sigh]....the biggest probelm of all...my bangs. I tried to cut them myslef and I know I messed up [I am so stupid]... I'm trying to get thick side swept bangs and make it look cute? My side swept bangs right now are messy, thin, uneven, and not the way I want it.

I'm not trying to make my hair look perfect...just the way I picture it :)

My hair is a MESS....and I need to fix everything!!! Can someone help me?

sounds like you need a good stylist. ask one of your friends, whose hairstyle you like, who does their hair and go see that person. he/she will correct your hair dilemma and give you tips to help keep your smooth.

My hair is a MESS....and I need to fix everything!!! Can someone help me?

Girl that's a lot of questions, to much for someone to read. Don't use to much shine or smoother, it will get greasy. Let your bangs grow they are probably to short, they keep sticking out. Or put nothing in your hair and blow dry them back then fix them Hope this helps!

My hair is a MESS....and I need to fix everything!!! Can someone help me?

Don't worry! I cut my bangs all the time by myself. I make them uneven on purpose! I think that the uneven-ness gives them a unique charm (in the good way.. trust me i'm not just saying that). Plus.. ask your hair stylist about thinning out your hair, if you want thinner hair. I really don't know what your trying to describe.. so she might not either. Bring her ( or him) a picture of something simular, or of the style you want. Side swept bangs are super cute(lol). But don't be afraid to have them a little uneven. Even bangs look too... wig/ school girlish anyway. Hope that helps... and good luck!

My hair is a MESS....and I need to fix everything!!! Can someone help me?

Pomade or wax for the bangs and layer your hair. If your hair is cut with layers then it wont look as fluffy at the bottom but it stays fuller at the top. Extreme layering is what you're looking for. Pomade or wax really helps with fly-aways and does what gel and hairspray cannot do. Plus it is (usually) water soluble so it is better for your hair.

My hair is a MESS....and I need to fix everything!!! Can someone help me?

Dont use any chemical.Instead use some herbal medicines.

What kind of hair styling product can i use on my straighten hair whithout curling it back...?

i've tried gel..but its kinda wet so it reacts like water on my hair...is there somehitng like hair wax that makes ure hair water proof n u can swim n all that whithout getting it curly?

What kind of hair styling product can i use on my straighten hair whithout curling it back...?

No, there isn't any product that works like that.

You can get your hair chemically straightened at a hair salon and it'll stay straight when you get it wet. That's the only thing that would work.

What kind of hair styling product can i use on my straighten hair whithout curling it back...?

Serum - it doesnt have water if u look at the ingredients

How can I straighten my hair?

I have tried everything, straightening irons, gels and lotions but my hair has really annoying curls towards the edges.

My hair used to be straight btw, but now its going curly and I hate it, thanks a lot everyone!

BTW my hair comes up to around the top of my eyes

How can I straighten my hair?

I can't believe the answers you got to this question... "never mind the curls are cute" wtf he said he doesnt like them.... and for "your a guy you dont care about your hair" well thats actually quite sexist, she wouldn't like it if I dissed her race...

Anywhom, I have sorta the same problem. I can't find a solution, I think I might try getting it chemically relaxed. Although that doesn't sound enjoyable

How can I straighten my hair?

sweetie, you're a guy, don't worry about it, little curls are cute :)

How can I straighten my hair?

Will ur a guy they don't really care about their hair!!

But if u want it striaght that bad take it to the salon!!

They can do it 4 u!

Good luck!!

How can I straighten my hair?

You can go see a professional to get your hair straighten but it's costly. It's all a matter of how desperate you are to get rid of your curly hair. Or, you can go to a drug store to purchase a hair straightener made for the African American people.

How can I straighten my hair?

i think guys with curly hair or cuter then guys with straight!

just forget about it cuz the chicks dig it

Everytime i let my hair down, it always poofs up because i have curly hair. so what can i do?

any kind of gels?

and i would like to keep my hair JUST as it is when i come out of the shower, like when its all WAVY and damp. and i was thinking of buying this mouse from "Catwalk", it says it holds medium/ heavy hair and that the kind of hair i have.

Any other stuff i can use for that and the poofyness?

O and iv tryed that wavy tecnic with some gel but it still just poofs up afterwards and that why i always where my hair in a ponytail and im sick of it!!!

so PLEASEEEEE HELP!!and ill give 10 points to the one that works the best:)

Everytime i let my hair down, it always poofs up because i have curly hair. so what can i do?

i am addicted to the bedhead "curls rock" product it had a perfect consistency to it and will definitely tame down your hair. if you need more control put in the the hairspray that goes with the curls rock stuff. you have to make sure that you always put product in your hair when it is damp if you put nothing in it it will definitely poof up on you. Also you should put the products in your hair and then diffuse it but not with your head upside down because your hair will only get bigger. So dry your hair and then put hair spray or more product in it. hope that helps you

Everytime i let my hair down, it always poofs up because i have curly hair. so what can i do?

Keep it up. Or strighten it.

Everytime i let my hair down, it always poofs up because i have curly hair. so what can i do?

I use a flat iron on my bangs.

Also I use American Crew Fiber- it is the thickest stuff out there-

seriously, I have little orphan annie hair, and Fiber plus the flat iron makes it straight. First, work the fiber in. Blow it completely dry. Flat iron your hair in inch pieces, starting from the front. Spray a little hairspray on your hair when you straighten it. But make sure your hair is all the way dry, or you will fry it.

Also you can buy a glosser (there are a lot of brands) put it on your hair before or after you straighten it. It will weigh it down and get rid of the puffy.

And never ever let a stylist come at you with thinning shears! They always curl and poof my hair the most.

Jamie Columbus

Everytime i let my hair down, it always poofs up because i have curly hair. so what can i do?

Use mouse! I don't have the same problem because i have straight hair, but my friend does. She uses mouse and although she still doesn't like her hair (unless its straightened) her curls look awesome! So yeah use mouse, put it onr your hair while its damp.....otherwise you could straighten your hair. Hope this helps.

Everytime i let my hair down, it always poofs up because i have curly hair. so what can i do?

garnier sleek and shine.

How to depoof Poofy hair %26amp; how to style Poofy hair

http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-gnA4Lmo_b...

How do I style my hair like (insert picture here)?

My hair is fairly heavy so it's difficult to spike it. I was just wondering what would be the best thing to use to spike my hair like this.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/10757296@N0...

My barber told me my hair is too heavy for gel too, so I've been using wax and topping it off with hairspray, but I can only spike the sides of my hair, not the middle, it falls down immediately.

How do I style my hair like (insert picture here)?

You need to have that hair cut. If your hair is thick, which it sounds like it is, then it will need to be thinned out and texturized.

Then LOTS of heavy products.

How do I style my hair like (insert picture here)?

thats an ugly Hairstyle it looks Like He got shocked!

Try Looking For Different Hair Styles usaully the ppl in mcfly have good hair

How do I style my hair like (insert picture here)?

Get your hair cut to accomodate the style. There are products like hair cement that can help and are more durable than your average gels and mousses, but the best quality will probably be found in a professional brand. Also, try concentrating the product at the roots, to give it lift, as too much on the ends will weigh them down. Get a stylist to do it, and they can tell you what they are doing step-by-step so that you can replicate it.

How do I style my hair like (insert picture here)?

hair styling wax? chk out http://www.folica.com/Styling_Wa_546_1.h...

How do I style my hair like (insert picture here)?

you can do with smoothing first, than you can use wax or gel or something like that. If still doesn't work, you could try wig.

Help with hair??

my hair is thick and there is a lot of it. it is wavy but more on the curly side but since all the waves overlap it makes my hair look curly. also my hair is super frizzy!! i want my hair to be just wavy and not frizz.. i have a lot of gel and anti frizz serums but they dont work!?

this is an example of how i want my hair to look like

%26lt;a href="http://tinypic.com" target="_blank"%26gt;%26lt;img src="http://i10.tinypic.com/6c470pu.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"%26gt;%26lt;/a%26gt;

dont suggest getting my hair thinned either

thx%26lt;3

Help with hair??

Ur right thinned out wont work... Personally Ive tried to get my hair to look like that and i also had poofy hair( now its thinned out) but my advice is straighten it and the curl it with a curling iron its the ONLY way it will look like that. Vanessa hudgens is a celeb with a hair stylist who does her hair to look like that,.

Help with hair??

Well, I like the frizz-control Infusium 23 shampoo and especially conditioner. Also, the expensive shampoos and conditioners made for that generally do work rather well...but they are expensive. Worth a try.

Help with hair??

to get rid of the frizz, use john-frieda anti frizz shampoo and conditioner

i've heard it works very well

to get hair like vanessa, i'd recommend getting a large barrelled curling iron and twisting it into curls

shake them out an ta da! perfect waves

Short hair on guys, should i go shorter? (pics)?

I閳ユ獡 thinking of getting a buzzcut. Probably a little longer like a 4 on top and possiblyshorter on the sides. Hair is thinning alittle so if i use gel it makes it worse and more noticable. It also gets kinda curly/wavy as it gets longer. Would real short hair be a good look for me? I'm going tomorrow to get it cut

http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/4589/...

http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/8931/...

I'm looking for a look that is low maintenance, professional, and finally makes me look good

what should i do, should i buzz it?

Short hair on guys, should i go shorter? (pics)?

ya you would look good with a buzz

Short hair on guys, should i go shorter? (pics)?

not too short like the first photo ?

Short hair on guys, should i go shorter? (pics)?

NO. it'll make your ears stand out more. keep it short like that.

Curl hair without curling iron?

like an inexpensive gel or conditioner

that will keep my hair wavy for the rest of the day????

and is really cheap?????

help please

no rolers

Curl hair without curling iron?

braid your hair the night before.take out the braids when your getting ready and spray hairspray

Curl hair without curling iron?

just twist it your hair until it dries....

Curl hair without curling iron?

OK take a shower then dry it then put some gel in it and scrunch it or take a round brush and blow dry it and curl it with that.

Curl hair without curling iron?

Most mooses(cant spell) will do it and they are like 5$... and they work the whole day without they annoying long time of using a straightening iron.

Curl hair without curling iron?

Bed Head curling spray and a warm hairdryer. The spray is activated by heat - scrunch your hair as you dry it on low with either hot or warm. It works great and does not leave your hair with a chemical gross feel.

Curl hair without curling iron?

My friends will braid their hair after they get out of the shower and sleep with it. In the morning their hair has waves and is very cute. I think you should try it. If it doesn't hold, you can go to the store to pick up some hair spray. That should hold it in place all day!

Curl hair without curling iron?

spray your hair with fine hairspray at night

then section your hair into 4

and twist a section until it starts to twist into a bun

repeat that with the rest of your hair

then fall asleep

and in the morning you should have wavy/curly hair

or you could get socks and twist them around (like they were rollers) and sleep on them, but you would have to do more sections with socks

Curl hair without curling iron?

small braids before you go to bed, will keep it wavy, or pincurls, made with strips of fabric, but there are no conditioners or gels that will really curl your hair

Curl hair without curling iron?

okay what i do is use a smaller amount of shampoo and a little more conditioner so it wont dry out. then, while your hair is still wet flip your head around so your hair will piece into sections so you wont get the stringy look but locks of hair instead. spray a bit of serum in, then mousse [ dont put in carelessly or when your hair is dry or it will get sticky] and some gel, i use 'get curled up' from bed head, its easy to work with. then scrunch your hair and let it air dry. be sure not to put too much product in or it will turn out greasy looking- and thats a bad look lol

hope i helped!

%26lt;3xoxo

Curl hair without curling iron?

Try John Freida's Curling spray, you spray it on wet %26amp; it dries your hair with a curl.

Good luck!

(P.S. you can get it @ CVS pharmacy for under $10)

What's gd for hair styling?

What should i use for my hair to make it look all spiked up nice?

if i use gel,i am afraid that later my hair might start dropping.

What's gd for hair styling?

Use mousse then cover with small amount of hairspray...gauranteed to hold all day long!

My hair is naturally frizzy, wavy, and poofy. hairstyles?

Without the use of straighteners, blow dryers, curling irons, gel or anything else horrible for my hair. any suggestions on cremes would be good! thanks

My hair is naturally frizzy, wavy, and poofy. hairstyles?

Mine's the same. I have it cut sholder length - after showering, I'll comb it out, flip it over, and scruch moose through my hair.

I've given up fighting the curl ;)

If I want straight hair, then I'll wait the day after shampooing, then use a straight iron. The remains of the moose, and oil will help weight your hair down.

You will not get straight hair unless you use some sort of heating tool - unfortunately.

My hair is naturally frizzy, wavy, and poofy. hairstyles?

Garnier Fructis Curl %26amp; Shine leave-in conditioner.

My hair is naturally frizzy, wavy, and poofy. hairstyles?

I suggest putting a quarter size amount of Frizz Ease in your palm and spreading it out from your tips to your roots. It's extremely hard to smooth out your hair without at least using a blow dryer, but the creme should help make your hair somewhat more silky. Plus, it's pretty cheap.

My hair is naturally frizzy, wavy, and poofy. hairstyles?

use frizz ease or hair serum thet should add a little oil to ur hair to keep it from, frizzing and look more shiny it might help dont use too much or it will make ur hair seem oily

My hair is naturally frizzy, wavy, and poofy. hairstyles?

I use the Garnier Frutis Curl %26amp; Shine shampoo along with the leave-in. I let my hair air dry and most of the time it ends up curly with little or no frizz! I say most of the time b/c I live in Ohio where the humidity in the summer wreaks havoc on my hair and I will have some frizz.

Hair style???

Can anyone suggest a product i can use that a basic store might sell that will give my hair a kind of wet look without making it sticky or hard.

I have long curly hair and when i leave it to dry naturally it will go completely crazy unless i put on some strong gel/hairspray which only makes it sticky.

I don't want my hair to look dry, any suggestions would really be appreciated,

thanx

Hair style???

Try grapeseed oil from the body shop....it doesn't make your hair go oily but it moisturises it and make it look nice and healthy....or just use a nice moisturiser. Or use the pantene leave in conditioner(i don't know...it might only be available in Australia) But both these products cost under 10 dollars in Australian dollars.

Hair style???

Have you tried conditioner for curls? It works for my sister.

If all else fails, go to a hair stylist and ask them.

Hair style???

anything by Paul Mitchell

Hair style???

i tell u what the best thing to use is old fashion VO5 and i mean your hair will really not be frizzy or dry and if you like the wet look it will and it will help your hair in the meantime!!!

Hair style???

use redken leave in conditioner every time after you take a shower. And i also suggest getting the shampoo and conditioner it leaves your hair moist and shiny. You can usually get it at any salon

Hair style???

Redken Glass is supposed to give curls the glossy look without becoming crunchy.

Hair style???

A little hair oil will lessen the frizz or curl and give it a darker look while keeping it moist.

I Am An African American Teen And I Want To Know What Hairstyles I Can Do With My Hair While Its Pre

Hello, I Recently Got My Hair Pressed For My Birthday 1 week or so ago. I was wondering what types of hairstyles I can do for my hair because I can't think of anything so I just keep putting it in a ponytail. So what I basically need is hairstyles to go to school with (I can't use gel or my natural hair will come back). My hair is normal length for a black girl so its like a few inches before my shoulder bone like where your throat is but it's not long enough to reach my shoulder. So if you can tell me what hairstyles to do and how to do it. I go to a Catholic school in the Bronx that consist of mostly Hispanics and Blacks( I Dont Know If That Will Help Anything Or Not So...)

I Am An African American Teen And I Want To Know What Hairstyles I Can Do With My Hair While Its Pressed?

normal length for a black girl? i guess i must be strange and abnormal because my hair is past my shoulders.

I Am An African American Teen And I Want To Know What Hairstyles I Can Do With My Hair While Its Pressed?

you could try putting it up in a bun or something

or just anything you couldnt do when it was curly

I Am An African American Teen And I Want To Know What Hairstyles I Can Do With My Hair While Its Pressed?

If I were you I'd just wrap it. At night wrap your hair (in a circle around your head) and then in the morning comb it down. It'll keep your hair straighter longer, and you won't need to use any heat on it b/c your skull acts like a big roller. Go to www.motionshair.com and they tell you how to wrap your hair.

I Am An African American Teen And I Want To Know What Hairstyles I Can Do With My Hair While Its Pressed?

flat iron your hair and wear a wrap. Their are a lot of books out there for black hair styles.

I Am An African American Teen And I Want To Know What Hairstyles I Can Do With My Hair While Its Pressed?

well im a balkk teen and i would vave it by putting braids in it and sleeping overnight in them and then take them out in the morning or you can scrunch it

I Am An African American Teen And I Want To Know What Hairstyles I Can Do With My Hair While Its Pressed?

Try wearing it down and curl the ends downward with a curling iron or wear rollers at night on the ends.

http://www.blackhairmedia.com/hairstyles...

I Am An African American Teen And I Want To Know What Hairstyles I Can Do With My Hair While Its Pressed?

Lol. Have fun with your hair - it's the most versatile out there. You could wear it down; half up, half down; have cornrows at the sides and a quiff in the middle, and tie it down (Fergie from Black Eyed Peas had something similar); part your hair just off center and have one side with cornrows (kinda like what Nicole from The Pussy Cat Dolls had last year); have a fringe; tie the top half up and divide the bottom vertically and make it into two braids. It's hard to explain in words, but if you're stuck for inspiration think about music artists and actors (check out Kyla Pratt's hair styles in early episodes of One on One) and take bits of what you like!

Have fun!!

Can black hair dye, make your hair fall out?

I'm 21 years old and I have couple of grey hairs. My hair has a natural dark brown and I dye my hair with black hair color.

My hair is pretty thick. Usually when I wash my hair I can count to about 20-25 strans of hair that I can see in the sink. Is this something I should worry about?

(I also use "got 2 b glue" gel. its tough gel, but it does wash out.)

Can black hair dye, make your hair fall out?

Dye cannot make your hair fall out at the root and your hair loss is normal. You might have breakage if you dye it a lot. I would suggest Natural Instincts if you don't have a lot of gray. It is easier on your hair

Can black hair dye, make your hair fall out?

Up until recently i had been dying my hair black for about 7 years (i decided to change colours). I have normal strand loss. It is said you can lose anywhere up to 100-120 hairs a day from sleep, shampooing, brushing it.

Can black hair dye, make your hair fall out?

A few gray hairs are nothing to worry about at 21. They're most likely not noticeable. However, hair dye will not make your hair fall out unless you leave it on waaaay too long or if you continue to dye it and don't take care of your hair. I, too, have a loooot of hair and it's really thick, and when it falls out it only means that your hair is growing. So that's nothing to worry about. If you are going to continue to dye your hair, do it every four to six weeks and take good care of your hair in between those. Use a shampoo for color-treated or damaged hair; it will keep your hair hydrated. Use a deep conditioner if you have to. Use girly products if you really want to get a good effect.

Products don't work in my hair?

I have this problem with my hair. I鈥檓 not sure if its because my hair is fine or something, but products don鈥檛 work on it. Gel, wax, mousse 鈥?I鈥檝e used them all. It goes in fine and goes into the position but pretty soon it droops and my hair feels clean again, or at least has no hold remaining and just feels greasy. What the heck is wrong with my hair? It seems like no brands work鈥nd no products either鈥hat do I do?

The wax works best, but I don鈥檛 want to slather my hair in disgusting wax (I have to use a lot) just for hold .What do I do? I hope this is a common issue.

Products don't work in my hair?

Well if wax works the best then stick with that product just don't over do it like you said...why don't you try finishing the look with a bit of EXTRA STRONG HOLD Hairspray. With the Wax and a little bit of hairspray that might be enough to hold it.

Here is a site with some pretty good and VERY STRONG styling products by Matrix. You can find them at most salons.

It's the TRIX line.

good luck bro = )

Products don't work in my hair?

Help with my 9 month old's wild (curly) hair?

My 9 month old daughter has long hair. I kinda expected this, I have hair that grows and grows. But I had a little Suri Cruise thing going on when I was a baby. My hair has always been straight. She got her Dad's curly hair, and it is adorable, but most of the time, it is wild!! The only time I've ever seen the curls managed well was when her dad gave her a bath and SLATHERED lotion through her hair. She had ringlets everywhere, but it was so greasy.

Now that I've seen that ringlet cuteness, I'd really know how you style curly baby hair. I can't use adult products like gel and mousse, I assume? Are there baby hair products? Haven't seen any in stores............ Lastly, are there any websites that show how to style younger children's hair? I've never been much of a stylist, but I'm trying. Before I saw how cute curly can be, I just usually used the length as an asset and put it in pigtails or a ponytail.

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Help with my 9 month old's wild (curly) hair?

my daughter is the same way she has crazy curls and i had to deal with it until they grew out and now they hang nicely like shirley temple but a good idea is to get a water spray bottle and put gel in it like just regular gel and water it down just enough so it goes through the sprayer and scrunch the hair or style it i also use no more tangles in the morning after she made it crazy from sleeping on it and i just combed it back and as it dried it was somewhat tame but the gel thing seemed to work for us but i really had to experiment with the water gel ratios but when you get it right it is worth it to tame the craziness but if you wait it out it will get better we are just getting bangs now on my daughter and they are just laying down instead of curling all around so good luck

Help with my 9 month old's wild (curly) hair?

please dont put gel in your daughter hair, it is full of artificial ingredients that can be very drying and damaging to your little ones hair...

seriously, check out www.curls.biz

the products are all natural and will not damage her beautiful curls... Report It

adult mouse if you keep it out of her eyes %26amp; mouth or there is a baby oil gel that would work as long as you did not use too much

Help with my 9 month old's wild (curly) hair?

You can use gel or mousse as long as she doesn't eat it before it dries. Pigtails, etc. is fine, too. Take her to a place like Kid Snips and they can either cut her hair or help you style it. It's kid-centered and they'll know what's safe for your baby.

Help with my 9 month old's wild (curly) hair?

Gel, gel, gel after a bath. Just use a wide toothed comb and brush through her wet hair then gel. It will be tame, curly and cute.

Help with my 9 month old's wild (curly) hair?

I use Suave Detangler on my 3 year old son's curls. They sell a kid's version - it has an octopus on the bottle and comes in a reasonably inoffensive apple scent. It's about $2 at a drugstore.

Help with my 9 month old's wild (curly) hair?

What you can do is use AUSSIE DEEEP CONDITIONER in her hair, and leave it in for 3-5 minutes..[as it says] it will make it very soft and manageable. :] Sorry, i don't have a website. But you can just put it in pigtails or a ponytail as usual. Also you can leave it down.. [verry cute] Good luck!

Help with my 9 month old's wild (curly) hair?

my daughter also has super curly hair...1/4 inch ringlets and they are just beautiful...but do require a lot of work to maintain and the right products and technique...

since she was about your daughters age i have been using products from...

www.curls.biz

and they are fantastic...and i can tell you that people are constantly telling me how beautiful my daughters hair is and where did i get the products...

the Curly Q's line are specially made for children, especially multi-racial little girls...

as far as styles, then you can learn to cornrow or you can twist her locks, if they are curly enough they will stay by themselves...

check out the website and if you decide to order, please email me so i can give my details for a reference, also if you would like to see a picture of my daughters curls with the products...she is three now, with a head full of curls...

Help with my 9 month old's wild (curly) hair?

I'm sure you can find something at Sally's or someplace else that will work to soften her curls without making it oily.

Help with my 9 month old's wild (curly) hair?

www.carolsdaughter.com has product specific for babies and kids They have a product called Hair Milk which will allow curls to be managable and soft without the greasey feeling.... Check out the site.. there is a cute little girl with curls on the site.

Help with my 9 month old's wild (curly) hair?

I had the same problem with my daughter's hair and I used mousse and gel. There's nothing wrong with it, just make sure you keep it out of her eyes.

Help with my 9 month old's wild (curly) hair?

I had that wild curly hair too and so does my son. I found the best thing for him was Johnson's Baby Shampoo with the detangler and then a detangling spray. I use a gel I buy at Greatclips called Kid Solutions it is made for kids and is light and not greasy.

Help with my 9 month old's wild (curly) hair?

I'd probably do it in braids. I love seeing those little girls with the poufy curly hair all braided with beads and colorful hairties. It's so cute.

But since you like the ringlet curls, I would say try to put it in little curlers and put some gentle hairspray or gel on it until it dries and take it out and comb thru it with one of those big combs for curly hair. That way the curls are pretty much under control and in place and you don't have to risk using the hot iron near her sensitive scalp. I'd just be careful that the spray or gel is safe for babies. I need hair advice.?

i have VERY insanely curly hair. im 13, and i cant buy any products for it except gel, hairspray, and mousse, and conditioner. how can i wear my hair without coating it in gell??and some hairstyles? tips? thanks!!

I need hair advice.?

did u ever try straightening it?

chemically straightening it at a salon?

how about pulling it back in a tight pony tail.. that way it is smooth on the top. .but then the actual pony tail is curly?

I need hair advice.?

take a whole bunch of bobby pins and just start pinnin up your hair at the back of your head. put your hair at a side pony.

I need hair advice.?

You can buy a straightener a ceramic plate one but always put a thermal spray on when u do that...u should buy Joico shampoo and conditioner for moisture its the best thing out there...help put frizz away

I need hair advice.?

if you have thinner hair then you could take a flat brush and blow dry it like that

that would prob give you a more "voluptuous" and i only use that cause that is what the style shows call it, hair with a slight wave

you could also straighten it

part your hair to one side, tiwsh it and ponytail it low

that tends tolook really good on curls

USE STRAIGTENING SHAMPOO

that might tame it down to a "normal status"

LOVE YOUR CURLS

wear them with confidence and pride

that is the best look of all

What's a good hair cut for a guy?

so my bro is having issues with his hair, and we're not sure what to do. so i wanted to get a pic for him to take into the hairdresser, but i don't know where i can find one. does anyone know of a good website that has a lot of pics of cute hair cuts for guys? my bro wants his hair shorter, but then for there to be some hair in front, in case he wants to gel it

What's a good hair cut for a guy?

Just go for a standard medium short hair cut. Kinda like what "SAM' has in the show "Supernatural". Thats what I got. I can wear it regular, or spike up the front, or go for the messy wake up look.

Really damaged hair??

I have thick, unruly, curly hair and I straighten it or use some sort of hot device almost everyday. Once in a while I will "scrunch" my hair where i put hairspray and a little gel in it while its wet and then let it air dry. But its really dry and damaged. I have heard different ways to do this, but i don't want to put mayo or olive oil in my hair it at all possible. Thanks for the help!!

Really damaged hair??

I straighten my hair every day and my hair is really healthy because of these tricks:

1. good shampoo and conditioner! I use tigi which isn't so expensive. I use the kinds with the funky names such as "dumb blonde" (which i'm not a blonde) or .. i can't remember the other right now but you get the point

2. Make sure your shampoo and condition have "for damaged hair" on the label

3. You can buy a small container of reconstructing gel which you put on in the shower and leave on for five minutes and then rinse out.

4. A pre-heating spray or gel is key!!! I use the "chi" brand, because it's made especially to use before a straightening iron.

5. Also, using a good hair gel is important. I use a kind in a triangular bottle thats bright pink, but can't remember what its call (sorry)

6. Just ask your hair dresser for tips next time you go in! And make sure when you get a cut you tell them that your hair is really damaged so they will use special shampoo on you, and maybe give you a special rinse.

Really damaged hair??

DOVE SHAMPOO %26amp; CONDITONER

get the one that prevents damaging you hair

it works GREAT!

Really damaged hair??

Ask Britney Spears what to do! She'll know!!

Really damaged hair??

time renewal shampoo by pantene i heard works really well it takes 2 years of damage off in 2 months

Really damaged hair??

Use shampoo for damaged hair!

Really damaged hair??

Well, mayo is a great conditioner- I use it once in a while. If you don't want to take this route, go to Sally Beauty and buy Loreal Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture (large jar cost about $12) and apply it to hair. Put a cap on and keep it on for half hour. Wash it out and style as normal. This is a great product and is only sold at Sally's.

Really damaged hair??

Do an aphogee treatment or do a protein conditioner and stop straightening. GEEZ. No hair is unruly. Learn how to maintain it. Otherwise if you are gonna keep ironing it, you minus well let it go to waste. Pick up Curly Girl by Lorraine Massey

http://www.amazon.com/Curly-Girl-Lorrain...

Really damaged hair??

NEVER use mayo it makes your hair SMELL its gross. use head and shoulders for damaged hair i do and it works! i love it and it also clean your scalp. try it.

Really damaged hair??

Last year I bleached my hair to platinum blonde and it was like straw. I finally found a product called Halo made by Graham Webb that is amazing. I use the hydrating shampoo and conditioner and it is the MOST moisturizing products I have ever used. There are also treatment products that help. http://www.halohaircare.com/products/car...

I also use super skinny from Paul Mitchell because this helps to smooth and condition. It is sort of like a leave in conditioner but it does not weigh your hair down at all.

Really damaged hair??

First thing to do is stop using cheap shampoos and conditioners. I just recently was wondering the same thing of what to use when a hairdresser let me know to look at the ingrediants of my conditioner. I looked and to my suprise the first ingrediant was alcohol??? I looked at all of them in the store and it was the same thing. They actually strip all of the natural oils off your hair and dry it out worse. So first thing is to get something a little more expensive like Biolage, its really pays off. And try to not wash it every single day. Also never brush your hair while its dry, this wil break half your hair in half. Brush it wet only with a pick when there is conditioner in it. It takes longer but its well worth it. Good luck and try not to use the heat on it everyday either and in a couple of months you should see a difference. :-)

Really damaged hair??

u should straighten less

Really damaged hair??

The thing you'll do perhaps is to have a hair cut. If you wear your hair long and it's really damaged you need to cut it a little short to rid of the most damaged parts then use hair conditioners like cream silk and its leave-on, its cheaper and it does leave good results. It's also working on me as I too got a bad hair.Don't mix using different shampoos and conditioners as your hair and your scalp needs to adjust to different ones. You have to stick to one.If it doesn't work then that's the time you have to change it. I really don't like using a lot of hair gadgets as I believe it would just destroy the natural growth of the hair.

Really damaged hair??

If you are not into natural hair remedies, you can try some commercial hair treatment, put it on your hair and let it sit for a couple hours before washing off, it really helps. Here are the products I have been using and my reviews: http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?optio...

Zac effrons hair? how do i do it like that?

hey

someone answered to my previously asked question "how can i do my hair to look good" that i should do it like zac effron.

my hair is the perfect length and thickness, but how do i do my hair like that?

what do i use? straighteners, gel, mouse? etc...

thanks!

Zac effrons hair? how do i do it like that?

Sorry to break it to you but, your never gonna get it hardly anywere near to how he has it. All these pictures you see of him, and when you see him on t.v he's hair looks perfect because before those pics or when he was on tv he had a million people backstage putting god knows what on it - abit of gel here, then some mouse then some hairspray, then maby straightn it. so yeah you wont come anywere near. But what id reccomend is straighten it, then add some mouse or something. Because he definatly straightens it.

Zac effrons hair? how do i do it like that?

btw it`s zac efron.

i`m a really big fan of him.

he uses gel

I style my hair like this?

I take a shower.

put some gel in it.

and then tie more hair in 6 braids sometimes 7.

sleep on it over night

take it out in the morning

put a little more gell in it and

then wala donee.

its easy for me.

i dont have natural curly hair. i have kinda wavy not really.

is this a good hairstyle?

I style my hair like this?

yea but i think u should try to brade it

I style my hair like this?

so who cares if you like it then do it

I style my hair like this?

OMG

LIKE THAT'S SO HOTT

I style my hair like this?

greatieeeeeeeeeee...when u get done scream out loud yeeeeeeeeepeeeeeeeeeeeee!! LOL!! = ]閳?br>I style my hair like this?

it sounds like it would turn out crispy and crunchy... too much gel.

I style my hair like this?

sounds kewlios to me,

but i prefer to flat iron

I style my hair like this?

I have long hair and lot a hair,i DON'T put gel in my hair.If your hair is short i think you should leave it out and put a head band on it to make it look a little more descent but don't put it in no kind of pony or piggy tail.Sooner or later you hair will be looking curly and fabulous! And most people love natural looks.

I style my hair like this?

i think that this way makes the hair too flat and it always looks like you braided it.

try wrapping your hair in a really high messy bun instead or just use a one inch flat iron to crimp it.

PUNK / SCENE / EMO hair plz?!?! =]?

My style is edgy, punk, kinda scene. I want like a choppy layered cut, with a side bang to the right, and shortish toward the front so i can gel it to mess it up. My hair is straight parted to the side and my hair is straight, medium length. (also, i was hoping so when i get it cut i wouldnt have such a direct part bc everytime i mess it up it falls that way, ad it's soooooo straight back.) Also, pictures are great!! and i need a cut semi-agreeable so my mom would be okay with it, but any pictures will do. Thanks a ton.

i have long hair its a little wavy but not layered. somehow i have these little fly away hairs on the sides of my head that stick out.. to short to go behind my ears.. what can i do? gel makes my dandruff worse and i cant breathe when i spray hair spray. also what are the new hair styles now for round faces?

Help with hair?

Try a pomade, mousse or a cream which arent as heavy as gel or hairsprays

Help with hair?

layered. go to a salon and ask for professional advice. if you want that sleak look, get a good hair straightener and some hair product. or maybe bring our your waves

Help with hair?

depends how you wear it. i wear mine up alot and i think that's how i got my little baby hairs. but if there are ever a problem i either rub a little mouse in my hair and kind of push them down...or i style my hair in a way where they can stay up...bobby pin some when it is up in a ponytail (just like my aviator) i straighten my hair too with a professional hair straightener and it helps alot

Help with hair?

tough question i have reallyyyy long curly hair and when i got it pressed she damaged a part of my hair. i usally use cream or bobby pins

Help with hair?

you could make a poof in the top of the middle of your head, and for the sides, pin them back with bobby pins, right above your ear. let the rest of your hair hang down. it would be a good idea to straighten your h air for this style! :]

Help with hair?

You might try cutting you overall lenght. THe hair may be snapping due to wieght. you can also try conditioning it everyday to make sure your hair stays healthy (If you are in CA we use the Trader Joe stuff)

Now if it is jsut cut short then just grow it on back out.

Help with hair?

I have almost the same thing as you, my hair is just not as long. One do NOT layer your hair, I go that done once, it really does not work with curly or wavy hair. Now for the hair on the side. I've been using Sunsilk de-frizz creme. it works nice (its the green one). Or another idea, take some conditioner and put a little all through your hair, and the side. it will help make it not frizzie, keep the hair on the side down, and its OK to leave it in. It will actually make your hair softer. Hope this all helps

Help with hair?

well, I have a rounded face and I cut my hair short but not too short. above the shoulders is a really good look for me and my hairstylist puts layers in my hair so it will come out at the bottom flipped. I love my hairstyle. Hope this works for you

Help with hair?

Try that website and ee if it works for you if so GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

Help with hair?

The little flyaway hairs are broken hairs, more than likely from pulling it back into a ponytail often. I used clips to pull them back from my face.

I too have a round face, thanks to my father's genes. I wear mine in a cute little bob that shapes my face. I love it. I have dark brown hair and I have some blondish/white highlights in the front. Good luck!

Help with hair?

i say u should cut ur hair... all of it....then as it grows back treat it right and it will be nice...oh yea and thoses little hairs it is called a sideburn....u should try and shave it...like the guyzzzz....you will fit in just right.......and for the new style u should just go bald ok it help with ur problems ok ok

Help with hair?

Sexxxy Hair products make a nice "pomander", which is a lightweight grease that tames fly aways, and gives your hair a nice healthy shine.

Using hair spray in a pump instead of arosol will help with the breathing, also be in a ventilated space.

Without seeing your face I wouldnt advise you on a hair style.

Help with hair?

Get some long layers and put Pantene's Smoothing Creme on your hair. It's not only great for fly aways, but it smells SOOOO devine, you'll get complements from all kinds of people! ;o)

Help with hair?

spray hairspray on a brush then on your hair works like a charm, and the hair style just but the hair to the side,,,look it up on sites

Hair growth?

okay i flat iron my hair just bout everyday and when i dont do that i usually put a lot of hairspray and gel in there. i kno it bad but i cant stop. my hair falls out so much that i have so little hair now and its really thin. do u kno of any products that will make it thicker longer and make it grow quicker? thanks!

Hair growth?

1- kerastase nutritive (loreal) that can help repair you hair and make it look shinier and softer if you've fried your hair or something

2-neutrogena triple moisture, it's leave in cream that softens, smoothes and conditions your hair and it was developed to treat extra dry or overprocessed hair, meaning, of course hair that's been killed by irony things and dyes, it describes it as "melts effortlessly into strands, moisturizing while diminishing flyaways and frizz with lasting humidity protection. hair stays naturally soft and touchable all day- no flaking, heaviness, or stickiness. it contains uv filters and helps improve hair quality with every use"

you can put it in your hair before you straighten it

while you're at it, try getting a cooler straightener

try tail and mane shampoo. it's actually for horses but works pretty good. you can buy it at Wal-mart

first dont use so much hair sprays that causes dry, brittle hair which results in hair loss. Your also using too much heat with the sprays and gels. I use Mane 'N Tail hair care products and they wokr great. Get the original from the comapny called Straight Arrow. Get your hair clipped to remove damage hair then start using the Mane 'N Tail Products.

Use secretagogue-one. Its a powder that you mix with 6oz of water. Drink it on an empty stomach everynight right before bed. Its a blend of amino acids and nutrients. It improves physical performance, speeds recovery, increases cardio output, increases immune functions, prevents and or reduces wrinkles and it eventually makes gray hair turn back to its natural color. It reverses the aging process. Whether your 30 or 130 it works. I'm 39 and been mistaken for mid to late 20s. I love it. You can get it at any vitamin/heath store. Look it up on line and read about it. I swear to God it works.

u have to stop flat ironing your hair. thats why your hair is falling out. try a deep conditioner.

I wash my hair at night and attend college during the day. My hair is sometimes oily by the time I wake up. I'm sick of the same on ponytail, slicking it back in a bun with gel, and top knots. What can I do with my hair? I dont know how to french braid so thats out of the?.

It sounds worse than what it is but try pig tails.... they get me out of trouble when ever my hair is giving me trouble and its a cute look!

I Have curly hair?

i am a male . i have curly hair. how can i brush my hair ? and make it look good. i put gel but i just don't know how to brush my curly hair. when my hair its short its not curly, but when it grows it starts to get curly. please help

I Have curly hair?

brushing curly hair makes it go crazy.

as long as you shampoo and condition it, there's no reason to brush it.

let the fro be wild!

curly hair is my favourite on guys.

I Have curly hair?

I have curly hair too but I'm getting it chemically straightened tomorrow. I'm so excited! =D I suggest getting yours done too. It will make your hair more manageable!

Frizzy Hair?

ok, I have VERY curly natural hair, especailly since i got it thinned out. But now it is turning exceptionally frizzy because i straighten it. But i have to straighten it because it is so frizzy when i dont straighten it. So, From a previous post of mine I have now switched to some new product. I now use Herbal Essences Hello Hydration shampoo and conditioner, and for leaving my hair curly i use aussie tizz no frizz gel and pantene pro-v frizz control curl revive and when i straighten my hair i am going to use Sunsilk straighten up creme. what are peoples person opions about these products?

Thank you!

Frizzy Hair?

well im not sure about those products but so you know before you straighten it you really should use this spray called heat seal made by paul mitcheal because by straightening your you are putting alot of heat on it witch isnt good and this stuff will protect it better i also have very curly hair and use to straighten it a lot but latley i where it curly and what i do is take a shower at night and dont use a lot of conditioner ok when i get out i do not brush it! because that makes it real frizzie when it dries any i let it dry for about an hour and its not all the way dry but more than damp i go to sleep and when i wake up i fluff it with my fingers since it got a lilttle flate put soft cream stuff on it by frutics and then a little hair spray and im good to go!!

Frizzy Hair?

I live in the mountains and the weather makes my hair frizz out. I love Sunsilk leave in spray conditioner. It makes it smooth and slky shiny. I think Sunsilk makes great products. So does Pantene. Sounds like you've got it covered! Accept maybe you should lighten up on the straightening and give your hair a rest so it can renew itself.

Frizzy Hair?

Am I one of the only people who thinks that curly hair looks nice and natural. Anyway, because you straighten your hair you should use some heat protection spray, which will make it look more smooth but don't use too much as it can make it look oily. If you're going to leave it curly, then try some serum which can get rid of frizz. My hair is naturally a bit wavy and I use serum sometimes.

Frizzy Hair?

I had a similar problem. I use sunsilk straighten up shampoo and conditioner, and when i straighten it i use the sunsilk straighten up creme. It has really helped. Ive never tried anyof the other products, sorry.

Grr... hair issue, any advice?

my hair is so wierd!!

my hair is naturally wavy but kinda straight too, and i use a frizz treatment, leave in conditioner, styling cream and a diffuser to manage my hair, it works for like and hour then gets frizzy and loses almost all of its wave for some reason. i like my hair wavy but dont know how to keep it this way... any suggestions/techniques?

also i dont really like using gels that will make my hair crunchy and hard... i like it to look natural

Grr... hair issue, any advice?

I agree with Sweetb Phyto is the best stuff. (available at Sephora)Try to not touch your hair at all after you get out of the shower -except to immediately put in the defrizzer. No towel no scrunching. Don't comb or brush it. Try letting it dry without the diffuser and see if any of this helps. The less touching the less frizz. Frederick Fekkai also makes a great glossing cream that takes away frizz and leaves your hair really soft and shiny,

Grr... hair issue, any advice?

i have the same hair type, therefore i don't use gels or mouse on my hair either. what use to keep my hair from getting frizz through out the day - i used anti-frizz by "phyto" the best anti-frizz stuff in the world.

Grr... hair issue, any advice?

i suggest that u dont use multiple treatment. it could go crazy and maybe that it is sort of straight is because u use too much treatment or get one that say so directly

Grr... hair issue, any advice?

use pantene pro-v, my hair is like yours and i love the conditioner by pantene pro-v. Also try blowdrying your hair instead of air drying, helps alot!!!

Grr... hair issue, any advice?

ok so ihad he same problem, i found fx curling gel hold factor 6 at walmart, i use a small amount on my wet hair then scrunch my hair with my hands a few times and let it air dry, beautiful wavesand its not hard looks like i didnt add a thing to my hair, oh i got it a walmart. its not expensive like 2 bucks its great

How do I control my hair?

I have straight hair (theyre 2 inches long), which is fine but they tend to stick up and feel dry after I shower.

I'm not a fan of gel either . How can I get my hair to to go limp like a noodle or "silkish"?

How do I control my hair?

Garneir Fructice has this stuff called silky smooth i think its for streightning your hair but it works for dry hair also

How do I control my hair?

moose is an alternative to gel, it doesn't flake like gel. its usually for people with thin/medium hair. it keeps flyaways down. =]

How do I control my hair?

moose, or streightner gel :]

How do I control my hair?

when your in the shower wash your hair like normal then apply your conditioner, never use 2%26amp;1s or dandruff shampoo unless you really do have dandruff..they make your hair really dry. when you put the conditioner in your hair leave it in while you do other things like washing or whatever at least 5 to 10 minutes then rinse your hair, that will make your hair silky. If you want your hair to be limp unfortunately you will have to get product like mousse, it's light and not sticky.

SHAVE IT!

How do I control my hair?

It depends on what your problem is, some shampoos have different formulas for frizz, dry, or anything in that category.

I have relaxed hair and i want it to have curls from time to time. does anyone know what i can do?

I have relaxed hair and i want it to have curls from time to time. does anyone know what i can do?

Perms don't go away%26gt;they GROW away. Least it is just hair which is always growing. Unlike a tattoo say,of your EX-boyfriends name, that is permanent and ya wish you had never got it. lol

Go with the shortest cut to get rid of most of it. Its only hair. It will grow in no time. Try not to worry so much over things you can't change. Makes life easier.

I have relaxed hair and i want it to have curls from time to time. does anyone know what i can do?

OK OK OK LICK YOUR FINGER THEN FIND AN EMPTY LIGHT SOCKET AND THEN... WELL NEVER MIND. GO TO A HAIR SALON.

I have relaxed hair and i want it to have curls from time to time. does anyone know what i can do?

How can i part my hair to....?

Hold on.

Ok, after a shower, while your hair is still wet, brush it out and make your part. Let it air dry. This works for me, and I have straight long hair too.

Hpe I've helped.

How can i part my hair to....?

When u are styling ur hair part it to the side that u want it on when u have got it all parted the way u wanted it then pin it up in a boby pin so it will stay or if u dont want to use a bobby pin the use a really cute headband to hold the hair back on the side. once u do this a wile ur hair will just autamatically go to that part because that is what it was trained to do. GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!

How can i part my hair to....?

yes by having wet hair and parting it the way you want will help it stay if your in a hurry take a comb wet it slide through hair and blow dry while combing in the direction you want

How do i keep my hair straight?

i use a ceramic straightener to straighten my hair but how do i keep it straight over night? Do i have to apply gel or something when i straighten my hair? or sleep without a pillow?

How do i keep my hair straight?

nothing works unless you have naturally straight hair. try putting it in a pony tail and then you only have to iron out one kink in the morning ~~~

How do i keep my hair straight?

sleep with a satin pillow or wear a silk scarf to sleep

How do i keep my hair straight?

no, don't add gel or anything. Usually, your hair will stay relatively straight when you sleep, maybe even flatten out a bit more unless you move around a LOT when you sleep. In the morning, have the straightener ready to do some touch ups in the places that need it, and that's all. You'll always need to touch up if you've slept on it.

How do i keep my hair straight?

Keep it off your neck at night so it doesn't get damp and sweaty. I clip mine up. Apply a little straightening serum the next day to smooth it, brush it and you're good to go!

How do i keep my hair straight?

I used to have 13 inches of hair, and I never straightened it. It was wavy, but it looked awesome that way, so i left it alone. Then I got tired of it and I buzzed it all off. The end!

How do i keep my hair straight?

Sleep with a thin lined pilow like.. silk or satin...

How do i keep my hair straight?

go to professional hairdresser , ask for hair relax treatment, its not that too expensive. it is good of 3 to 6 months keep your hair straight.

How do i keep my hair straight?

you could try wearing a winter hat, like a beanie that's tight. thats what i do. also they make straightening gels (which don't always work) but you put them in when you're drying your hair...

How do i keep my hair straight?

brush it everyday and use a straitener try sleeping with a satin pillow and keep the hair off ur neck at nite

How do i keep my hair straight?

If you have the money get Thermally Reconditioning. Expensive but really worth it my parents paid for me to get it done a few weeks before my wedding and my hair was great until my roots started growing in. It makes your hair feel soft and shiny. Does not dry out your hair like when you get it relaxed.

How do i keep my hair straight?

probably flat iron it each morning or relax it

How do i keep my hair straight?

put a perm solution in it and instead of the rollers just keep brushin it straight

How do i keep my hair straight?

How to improve wavy hair and straighten it

http://www.askaquery.com/question/How-to...

How do i keep my hair straight?

Straighten it in the morning, but if you don't have time sleep on your stomache. Then the hair lays on your back and doe't really get affected.

How do i keep my hair straight?

screw the salons they charge an arm and a leg. get an at home perm, put in the perm solution and comb really straight...leave it in for recommended time on box, rinse then put in neutrilizer and brush really straight again, time by box's directions, rinse and let eir dry, that should make it mush more manageable...wait 24 hours then condition to avoid drying out...this is what my cosmetology teacher told me to do to relax my perm and it went stick straight...should work wonders for u

What do i do with coarse ruff hair.?

ok here it is my mother is black and part indian and my father is 100percent irish so i am left with this really nice but thick wavy uncooperating hair. so i am a guy and my hiar is long but not long enough to straighten it so its in between. my hair can be so frizzy dry ruff and curly i want my hair to be silky flat and straight no waves or curls ive been considering the matrix sleek line do you think that would be good? any suggestions would help and o i really dont like using gels and mouuses i like my hair to be soft and natural help me im in dier need.

What do i do with coarse ruff hair.?

You can't fight genetics. If you want flat silky hair with no waves or curls you might want to consider having it chemically straightened. Other than that, the only way that you will get sleek flat hair is to wash it with a good shampoo and conditioner for coarse hair, a blow dryer and probably a flat iron. You will have to use some products to keep your hair in place. The Matrix line would be a good line. You don't need mousse on your hair, that is for people that have thin fine hair, you need to use serums to keep the hair cuticle flat. To keep your hair from getting so frizzy, get a good haircut periodically to cut off the split, dry ends. That will help with the frizzies.

What do i do with coarse ruff hair.?

all i can think of is to get it flatironed or straightend w/ a relaxer

I have short hair and it's really poofy and straight (not frizzy), how can i put it down?

My hair (1 or 1.5 inches long), when slept on, is put down. After waking up and going to take a shower it grows poofy and straight up. I've heard about BioSilk Silk Therapy, does that help mend my hair down? If I grow my hair long will it go down? Or are there any methods to keep my hair down? (I don't feel like using gel/pomade because it gets ruined easy and not permanent for whole day)

I have short hair and it's really poofy and straight (not frizzy), how can i put it down?

hmm u can try mousse, its lighter and not as damaging to the hair especially if u get it alcohol free. u can also try hot oil treatments which u can get from any drug store to help with the dryness. and u can try hair serum if u dont want anything to harden it. u could also get a hair straighter and straighten it since it wont take very long because its short. and u can work straight hair girl! wear cute earring and make up to bring out ur eyes =)

I have short hair and it's really poofy and straight (not frizzy), how can i put it down?

have you tried a heavier conditioner to weight the hair down or a leave in conditioner that might help

I have short hair and it's really poofy and straight (not frizzy), how can i put it down?

you can use japanese straightening and then it will always be straight. last about nine montha and is around five hundered dollars.

I have short hair and it's really poofy and straight (not frizzy), how can i put it down?

I used to have the same problem. I grew my hair longer so that if it was really bad I can just pull it back. Otherwise I recommend VO5 Hair conditioning oil. It is usually in a tube and doesn't smell so wonderful but it works great! I am always trying new products anyway and I always come back to this. It is nice because it workds without heat. Just be carefull not to add to much because it can be greasy.

I have short hair and it's really poofy and straight (not frizzy), how can i put it down?

probibly can't fight nature - try some spike styles and learn to love it on the wild side :o)

I have short hair and it's really poofy and straight (not frizzy), how can i put it down?

my hair used to be short n frizzy too. have u tried just straightening? if not, the japanese straightening is more effective if that doesnt work.

Why does my hair part all over?

I've got natural curly hair. Everytime I comb my hair back to get the "Pompadour" hair style, my hair messes up and parts on both sides of my head. Why?

I wash my hair every day. I don't put gels or sprays in my hair, but I always put a dab of Brylcreem. (I'm Rockabilly)

I'

Why does my hair part all over?

They are called cowlicks.

The difficult thing about cowlicks is that this is the way the hair grows, so no matter what you do, it will only be a 閳ユ涪emporary閳?solution. Unfortunately, there is nothing to make them 閳ユ笀o away閳? You can only manage them, and find a stylist who can help you create a style to make them work to your advantage (or at least minimize the detriment).

Why does my hair part all over?

If you used to part your hair in those places all the time, then that's why. If you part your hair in one place so many times, your hair is used to being parted that way, so it always parts that way if you don't force it.

I want my hair to grow. Please help, okie?

Ok i have dry, curly, frizzy hair.(I can make it look good with gel, ghehehe) I really would like it to grow for school. (When my hair is straighten, its really close to my mid-back). I deep condition my hair like 2 twice a week and wash my hair like 3-4 times a week. But would like it a little longer though.

What should I do? (I would like it to grow at least 3-4 in).

use horse shampoo. it makes hair grow really fast, sadly, even body hair.

by the way, cutting the ends of your hair has NO effect on the roots and how fast your hair will grow.

I want my hair to grow. Please help, okie?

I would get your split ends cut every once in awhile, you might be thinking, "Why? That is cutting off hair!" But, it leaves your hair healthier, which makes it grow faster!

I want my hair to grow. Please help, okie?

Just trim it! I have the same kinda hair as you and I understand... you can find hair spray that makes your hair look wet. Ask your stylist where to get it or if she/he can get it for you f you pay them. I got a ceramic high wattage salon style starightener through mine. ^^

I want my hair to grow. Please help, okie?

taking your vitamin helps your hair grow and don't wash your hair to much it will get it dry. put moose in ur hair and when u straighten your hair put a spray that will protect ur hair from getting dry. i hope my advice works.

Hair is made from protein, so try eating protein rich food and reduce the stress in your daily life. More tips at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/growhair.htm...

I want my hair to grow. Please help, okie?

when u wash ur hair just pull gently at the root of your hair while shampooing every shower!

I want my hair to grow. Please help, okie?

Gel and mouse gives you that wet look. When it come to growing your hair, care is key. I know you're deep condition and you should keep up with it. One thing I learned is that when you're dealing with your hair, it should be tooken care from morning to night. You can sleep with rough pillows b/c it can damage your hair. You can't put to many chemicals and products in your hair without expecting a consequence. Try cleansing your hair with 1 tbs. of baking soda and a cup of water or rinsing with apple cider vinegar to take all the hair products out once in a while. If you relax your hair, only do a touch up on the scalp and avoid putting to much relaxer on the rest of the hair. Optimum hair relaxer has a product that you put on the end of you hair before you put in the relaxer to prevent breakage. Good luck on the hair!

I want my hair to grow. Please help, okie?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

I want my hair to grow. Please help, okie?

I would like to know how to make my hair grow longer as well and it sounds like to me you and I have hair similarities. Well I may have some helpful advice about how to keep your hair looking wet through the day. This is what I do and I find it very helpful. While in the shower use shampoo and conditioner or just conditioner and let the conditioner sit in your hair for the normal amount of time. Then while the conditioner is still in your hair use a comb brush and comb out all the tangles and knots. This allows for you to be tangle free , but still have your natural wet curly look. After that rinse out the conditioner and do not comb again just leave it as it is. Now for the final step use a curly hair gel and apply it to your hair while it's still wet just after you rinse.....rub the gel all throughout your hair and even shake your hair a bit to make sure your getting the whole head. Now it may sound like you will need a lot of gel, but you really don't. The gel that I use sometimes works great and it does not cost a lot. It's called La bella styling gel for curly hair. You can get it at target or CVS. Well I hope I have been of some help.

This will also keep your hair under control and looking nice and still wet and frizz free!

How do you style and care your curly hair?

On the styling part. I use gel but the after I put it on it looses volume but the gel helps keep the frizz off. when i style my hair it looks sometimes oily and lifeless.

How do you style and care your curly hair?

I use a lot. I shower in the morning and use curly hair shampoo and i use lots of the Frizz Ease Curl Around products and then Herbal Essences mousse that comes in a purple bottle-- i couldn't live without it. Gel is okay but mousee keeps it alive lol

How do you style and care your curly hair?

Maybe you should try a different gel or cream - one that's not so oily. I have very curly hair, too. I put on only a little syling gel and then use a curling iron to make it smooth and give it some lift on top. There are also some sprays that will add shine to your hair after you get it styled. I do understand the problem of curly hair. Everyone who doesn't have it thinks it would be great - but it isn't.

How do you style and care your curly hair?

Secret for maintaining curly hair:

Shampoo only once a week, or else it dries out the hair and you'll get frizz. But, condition every day and let it sit in for a few minutes.

Also, when you dry your hair don't rub the towel around, what you should do is kinda "scrunch" your hair, otherwise you'll get frizz.

Next, use some light spray or whatever you're using and make sure you put it in while your hair is still damp, let it dry, and you're hair should be good for the day!

Hope that helps, it helped me.

Step by step instr. for piecy hair?

Ok, i have very short, layered hair (like the avatar, pretty much, but with straighter bangs). I want my hair to look really piecy, but i'm having a hard time. I would LOVE some step by step instructions starting from right after i wash my hair.

Here's what I have to work with: straightening balm, gel, styling paste, and a hairdryer. Go for it!!

Step by step instr. for piecy hair?

Gee, I can't believe that no one has left an answer.

I have short hair too (don't be fooled by my avatar, i need to change it). Its just like your avatar.

Anyway, to make my hair look piecey, i use a "surfers gel" by Garnier Fructis. I freakin' love it!! I never want to have long hair now, lol.

Ok onto the step by step instuctions. But a video would be better, ey?

Click on the one on the far right, on the bottom. (The girl with the blonde shaggy, short hair).

It has instructions too. :]]

Good luck with your short hair!

Why is my hair like this?

As a kid I had super straight hair. I still have straight hair. But when I started using products like gel, mousse, leave-in conditioner, blow-dryer at age 12 my hair is wavy. First only when I used products my hair was wavy. Now when I wash my hair it drys wavy and dry! Is it the products?

I know the answer seems obvious, but in the winter my hair is straight! So is it the humidity? Is it both? Or is it also because I use shampoo everyday?

What should I do? I live in a humid area. Maybe my hair is damaged. What can I do to restore it back to its naturally straight style?

Why is my hair like this?

I bet it's the humidity or that your hair is too dry. You shouldn't wash your hair if it doesn't need to be washed, that makes your hair a lot drier especially in the summer.

Why is my hair like this?

Shave

Why is my hair like this?

wavy is better than straight any day. If you really hate it wavy, straighten it! its better to have hair that can be versitile instaed of just plain straight so you can never have waves if you want them.

Why is my hair like this?

it might be the humidity. you can try using a frizz control. the ones by dove are really good and smell soo good. i always get complimented that my hair smells so good.

Why is my hair like this?

my hair did that once after I had it chemically straightened- I did it cause I didn't want my hair to have any wave (wouldn't suggest it...) anyway I went and had my hair professionally conditioned. They use some special conditioner and then sit you under a heat lamp for about an hour. When I left my hair was perfect again and sooooo smooth. That's my suggestion to you. I think I paid around $30 for it.

Why is my hair like this?

It may not have anything to do with the humidity or anything like that. As you get older everything about you changes including the chemestry in your hair. When I was young I had lock of curls and now my hair is strait as a board. Its pretty much the same thing as your hair changing color as you get older. Im not sure if you hair has changed its color some but most childrens hair gets darker as they get older.

You could try some hot oil treatments. They are really good.

Why is my hair like this?

no my hair did the same thing

look in the ingredients in the shampoos and roducts you use.

use heat protectant spray or conditioner on your hair before using a hair dryer or curling irons/flat irons

I use a flat iron on my hair it makes it not so wavy as for frizz just put conditioner in your hair an hour before hopping into the shower or use a dryer sheet on your hair, it sounds weird but it really does smooth it down

Why is my hair like this?

It is because of the humidity.

and chemicals will do that to your hair too.

All professional stylists recommends that we only shampoo our hair every other day because washing your hair too much will strip it of its natural oils (which is your best styling product!)

If you dye your hair a lot it might be the caught too. there are many factors... but definitely moisturize and try to refrain from blowdrying and using so many heat products that will burn your hair.

Why is my hair like this?

I think you answered your own question. cool it with the products for awhile and just let your hair be natural, using conditioners for damaged hair. When you are 12 hormones kick in with a vengeance and affect your hair too. this is why you went wavy about that age. this happened to me too. I was straight haired until 12 or 13 and then it got curlier and wavier. but chill with the moose and other things. the curling iron is bad for the hair if you do not use protective products with it. mostly just embrace your natural waves! people kill to get this affect and you have it naturally. good luck hun!

Why is my hair like this?

Your hair is probably really sensitive to humidity and since you live in a humid area that is probably the reason that in the summer and other seasons like summer your hair is wavy. But it may not be just the humidity it may be that your products that you use maybe they are just reacting to your hair. If you changed hair products at the age of 12 maybe you should try switching back. I personally think that your hair particles have got damaged and i would try some shampoo or some other hair products that help restore hair because what might have happened is that you hair particles have all scrunched together some it makes your hair wavy.

Why is my hair like this?

It sounds like hormones, climate and product build up.

1st hormones not solution here

2nd climate I live in a climate where it is VERY HUMID in the summer, a little leave in conditioner and a small amount of hair serum help that. Also let your hair air dry whenever possible

3rd you can use a clarifying shampoo or a more natural approach 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar to 1 1/2 cups of

warm water pour on hair massage and rinse til water is clear.

follow with shampoo and deep conditioner.

If possible use products that are botanic, organic and not animal tested
