I was wanting to know, how do you get volume in your hair if you straighten it? Without using all of that gel.

Lift up small sections of hair at a time and using a maximum hold hairspray spray at the roots. Allow to completely dry before releasing that section of hair and moving on to the next. You can also "hit" that section with a blast of heat from a blowdryer, aimed at the roots on the section you just sprayed. If your hair is not "poker straight" sometimes just turning your head upside down and spraying at roots works well too!!

flip your hair over and blow dry the bottom close to your scalp. This adds volume. If you straighten it by blow drying it try doing it with your hair flipped
