What is a good creme/gel/ect. to prevent in-grown hairs or razor bumps?

Yeah, that question makes no sense because I have no idea how to ask it. ANYWAY:

I want to shave my bikini line, but I get those bumps (that look extremely gross on me, although they're just bumps, not filled with pus or anything). I don't know what they're called, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Any suggestions how to get rid of this when shaving?

And please, don't suggest waxing (unless I can do it at home %26amp; its extremely easy).

Oh, and I use shaving gel and a two-three blade razor.

Shave with the hair to start, when you shave against the hair growth pattern is when you get razor burn and ingrown hairs. Also use a cream that is a pre shave, it is used to get the hair to stand up more.

Usually razor burn occurs when the skin is to dry, hydrate your skin bydrinking plenty of water or a regulare basis and using shaving cream and then after you shave put lotion on that takes redness out or reduces irritation. There is a lotion and body wash call Cetephil it is inexpensive and meant for all types of skin.

hi, use conditioner, my dermotologist told me to because when you shave your legs (or anything else) you are scraping the razor on your skin which is making tiny scratches... the conditioner has a normal PH Balance. But think about it.. Say you cut your self and put soap on it, it burns.
