How do I DRY out my hair, yes i asked how can i DRY out my hair?
Wash it with BAR soap.... then don't condition. I think there are other ways to go about fixing it but if drying it is what you want... well, bar soap is the easiest, cheapest, and SAFEST way to do it without causing extensive damage.

Salt water, maybe? I think that would work.

well an easy way would be to bleach it...that dries out your hair pretty fast...

Oh my gosh, i don't know why anyone would want to dry out their hair, but anyways.
You could fry it with a flat or curling iron. When your hair is wet, put a flat or curling iron on it. and it should fry it. And.... permanently straighten it. It doesn't really straighten it, but it does damage it! :]

I don't really know if it'll work but have you tried witch hazel? I use it on acne to dry out pimples, it sucks the moisture out. maybe it'll work for hair

I can't believe you want to do that to your hair, lol. And trust me its very hard to get back to the silky, healthy hair again.
The way how I got dry hair is by bleaching my hair numerous times. Oops.
So not only do i have dry hair, its really damaged too. Though its getting better.
However, I wouldn't recommend doing this to your hair unless you want over processed hair.
And if you want the shaggy look, cut it into that look (get a professional to do that) and use Garnier Fructis - Surfers gel to style it. There is no need to dry it out to do that.

you could use a towel or try drying it with curtains and if you dont have any of these try a good ol wool sock... grama says its best!!

Always use a blow-dryer when you get out of the shower. Don't use any conditioner. Instead of using shampoo just use bar-soap. If these don't work well enough then you should also try using hairspray right after/during blow-drying. It should help to keep it up. I too have a very fine and silky hair that is hard to do anything with. If all of these tips fail, dye your hair. It doesn't matter what color, just dye it. Then in a couple days, dye it again. It will damaged your hair but it will dry it out too. After dying it wash it. Don't do this too many times or too often because it is bad for your scalp and you don't want to lose your hair. Hope this all helped you out.

I also have fine hair and I think what you mean is that it can get greasy faster then thick hair? Try using a root lifter after you wash and towel-dry your hair and then blow dry using a round brush and brushing the hair upward(a little hard to explain) while rolling the brush. Also layers help a lot, no joke. And finally, if your hair is feeling a little greasy at the middle or end of the day, baby powder is a quick fix, just take a little bit and work it into your roots and it should dry up the oils until you get a chance to wash your hair.
