Why is my hair SUPER dry?? (Ten Points for best answer)?

I didn't notice this until one of my friends pointed it out...

He pointed out that my hair was extremely dry and he explained that if your hair isn't dry you're suppose to be able to swing your hair around just by shaking your head, lol you know what I mean. Anyways, he was right, why is that, I remember when I was young I was able to because my hair wasn't so dry. When I shake my head, my hair does not sway at all...I'm not even using gel...well I used to, but not anymore.

How do I fix that?

ummm... try using pantene products, or Selson (its a hair product, when my mom was in her 20's, she used it and her hair was soooo soft after using selsun). BTW, also use herbol essenses stuff

Use head and shoulders shampoo/conditioner..it helps. Also skip every other day if its dry:)

drink plenty of water and get a deep conditioner like aussie's three minute miracle to use once a week. you can also try not washing your hair every day, every other day or once a week instead, and leave your conditioner on longer than usual when you do wash it.

try a good daily conditioner like loreal. This will keep your hair moisturized without making it look greasy, or something!

SAME WITH ME, my little sister says i have horse hair. you have too use silk shampoo and conditioner, do you blow dry your hair? if so that might be the problem, straightening it does cause it too dry out, my hair used to be so nice, now that I straighten it and blow dry it its just dry, so I just throw it up in a pony tail cus i hate it now.

use a womans conditoner.

you should buy some moisturizer that are sold at publix, cvs %26amp; walgreens. This well help your hair to be shiny and glowing.
