how can i make my hair spiky like the guy in my avatar? what product should i use? Currently, i have hairspray, gel and wax immediately available. My hair is pretty short right now, but its really even and sorta hard to spike actually, what should i ask for at the hairdressers if i ever need it cut like that?

Hmm want it spike like your avatar?...Well let me recommend you not to use wax...my brother had tried that...and it toook forever to get it out of his hair..The easiest way is to use either mousse or gel and apply it into your hair and use a comb and comb it upwards and towards the direction you want. When you want your hair cut like that show them a picture of that hair style and theyll be able to do it for. Hoped i helped=]

Well, Actually- i think the best thing to do is ask your hair dresser since she'll actually be able to feel your hair texture and make suggestions. also they are usually really cool about if you buy something to put it in your hair while you're still there and she can show you how to actually do. They're usually really helpful like that cause they wanna sell a product. lol :). But that would be my suggestion for you. good luck.

Pomade... you can get it any salon and I also think they might sell it at Walmart. Its waxy like .. take a small amount and put it in the center of your palm try to warm it up by rubbing your fingers over it... then pick those hairs you want to spike. Finish by spraying just a little hairspray on it.
