Guy needs help with hair?

hey. I am 19, and my hair doesnt do what I try to make it do. I have slightly wavy, thick hair, and I try to spike it and it never stays up, and it never does what I try to make it do. I have tried using a few types of gel's and even hairspray. how do i get my hair to be spikey how I style it? Thanks.

I'm 16 and I had the same problem,

I recommend just using multiple products.

I combine spiking gel, mousse, and G鏋歵 2 Be Glued brand hair spray... or something like that...

also if you blowdry it a lil...

I wouldn't recommend glue, its probably not good for your hair...

but then again depends on the length.

My friend Nic uses elmers glue with his gel and mixes it in. He does liberty spikes by the way. I've used straight elmer's in my hair before. Mind you I'm a girl, this was for halloween and I have pretty long hair.

you didnt say how long your hair is sometimes this makes a difference if it is too long try going shorter my son also has wavy hair but very thick he straighten his hair first then uses a gel with a #9 hold base also try this it might help, bend at the waist when you put on the hairspray,

p/s: or just make it classical looking...military haircut is hot! many people like those...XD
