Buzzed or short hair on guys??? What do you think?

im thinking of getting a real short haircut. how should i get it cut? im tired of my hair the way it is. my hair longer becomes uncontrollable and hard to style with gel since it is thinning alittle and defines the thinning. i've tried the spike thing before and my hair doesnt cooperate or look that good

i need advice on what style and how short. im thinking something buzzed but not bald. im thinking possibly like a number 3 or 4. would that be good?

its really not that long in the top picture. but if u wana get it cut, cut it JUST A LITTLE and then bleach the front tip of it blond. thats a way to get a haircut and look gr8 and by just a little, i mean dont buzz it.

I have been styling my hair now for the past 3 years or so with sports hold gel and a hairdryer because i have coarse hair. But i was wondering how i could style my hair and make it stay but not have it all hard, very wet looking, and "heavy" with gel.

Go to a salon and ask for a pomade with a heavy hold. Pomade is very pliable and it holds well. It cuts the wet look.

Definitely get TGI Bed Head. It freezes your hair in place and will stay all day!! Best part is it doesn't looked caked or wet, looks natural!!

Ive noticed that quite a few guys today have a hair style thats sort of spiked from the sides into the midde...it doesnt look like they use alot of gel if any....i once got out of the shower and my hair was just like that. So i left it like that and it was awesome! i really liked it...but i dont know how to do it again?? any help?

its called a fohawk. and well all you do is pull your sides up to the top and you're probably going to need some gel to keep it there.

Also, mousse works if you put it in when your hair is wet.

Don't buy the cheap stuff though--like the sutff from grocery stores. It could weaken the follicle over time and cause premature baldness. That's espescially prevelant in men.

baby-oil does good for the wet look it also helps mostirise the scalp and the hair to keep it healther looking. as for good gels I use the cheapest mega hold that I can find it works best for me to each their own. i will always try anything once to learn for myself if it works for me or not. or try putting some hair straitening serum in your hair befor you go to bed and rinse it in the morning with semi-cold water. (its what i do, it works great on this wierd wave i get. it also adds natural looking shine!) ^_^
