Should I cut my hair shorter or buzz it? (pics)?

I閳ユ獡 thinking of getting a buzzcut. Probably a little longer like a 4 on top and possiblyshorter on the sides. Hair is thinning alittle so if i use gel it makes it worse and more noticable. It also gets kinda curly/wavy as it gets longer. Would real short hair be a good look for me? I'm going tomorrow to get it cut

I really like it the way it is in those photos.

Should I cut my hair shorter or buzz it? (pics)?

I don't think you should buzz it, just cut it!

I personally think you should buzz it.

Oh, dear hair, WHY not!?

When I straighten my hair it's smooth, sleek, and perfectly straight, but 5-10 minutes later it has waves and is no longer smooth and light like it was before. On certain days though it will remain nicer. How can I make my hair stay exactly the way it is right after I straighten it? Right now I use vo5 straighten up (which is a gel I put on right before straightening my hair and its supposed to keep hair STRAIGHT until the next wash) and I also use sunsilks straight hair cream. btw, I don't have curly or really wavy hair. It just gets waves at the bottom and when my hair is straightened it also is very sleek while when its wavy is sort of poofy and a bit frizzy.

Oh, dear hair, WHY not!?

use a good hairspray also to set it. Maybe go over it after you straighten it with the cold setting on your hair dryer. Also make sure your hair is COMPLETELY dry before you straighten. moisture contributes to your hair's attitude. If you are in a humid climate, it can't really be helped.

Oh, dear hair, WHY not!?

do you use an electric hair straightener? My friend with curls use them all the time, just be careful they get extremely hot!

Ps. my girlfriend just got the sexiest costume at:

she looks so hot ^^

Oh, dear hair, WHY not!?

use a CERAMIC flat iron instead of a metal one. it'll "seal" your hair shaft %26amp; keep the moisture out. moisture is what's bringing the wave to your hair

Oh, dear hair, WHY not!?

you know what i did , today i went to dollar tree and i found a relaxer that makes ur hair straight without using the straightner is says it makes hair smooth and healthy looking and it only cost me a $1 so im gonna try it pretty soon, what do you have to lose?

hope i helped

Oh, dear hair, WHY not!?

try fructis smoothing cream before straigthen ur hair

use fructis shampoo+conditione+mask sleek and smooth

they have anti humid agent.

I'm 14 and have thin hair. Is this normal?

I'm a guy, and my hair is pretty thin. My dad is bald, but i heard that you get your hair genes from your mother's father. Is that true? I want to know if anyone else is having this problem, any ways to help the problem if it seems bad, and i also heard that certain foods can help make hair grow. Anyone know any? I also use gel, and i dont know if that has anything to do with it.

I'm 14 and have thin hair. Is this normal?

havin thin hair is perfectly normal because unless you have rapid hair loss then you are a normal boy

I'm 14 and have thin hair. Is this normal?

It's normal to have thin hair if your parents have thin hair. If you want you hair to get thicker you could use a hair thickening shampoo, and eat foods with a lot of protein (meats, eggs, and dairy products.)

I'm 14 and have thin hair. Is this normal?

um, i don't think any of that is true =], sorry. but i'm not an expert.

and i think this isnt ABnormal, so your fine.

I'm 14 and have thin hair. Is this normal?

Thin hair is normal. I hope your not using to much gel though it will make your hair look thiner and oily. Your hair genes don't always come from a specific person it just depends on who you are. Don't worry about it for a while. When you get older you will have plenty of time to worry about it and there will be plenty of solutions for you. =]

And shaving your head on a regular basis will eventually turn out a nice thick head of hair for you.. try getting a tattoo and maybe a piercing on your face somewhere would draw your attentions from thinnish hair.. Have your dad shave his head and both of you look for some tats you might like... goodluck

Do you know of any good hair straighteners that would work for me?

I naturally thick wavy short blond hair. I blow dry it every day to try to straighten it but it still seems to be wavy at the top. I want to get something that is quick and easy to use but won't damage my hair. Also I don't want it to make my hair feel sticky. Brand names and type (spray, gel, shampoo ect.), please

Do you know of any good hair straighteners that would work for me?

im not an expert but i recommend a ceramic iron. you can use it even if your hair's wet and it works really well. might take longer though compared to a hair dryer but it's worth it. and you dont need any other product to use it with. if you want it semi permanent though, why not go to a salon and have it rebonded or relaxed. that way you wont have to fix your hair everyday. just wash it and youre good to go.

Do you know of any good hair straighteners that would work for me?

GHD GHD GHD!!!!!!! ghd all the way!lol they are really good, a little pricey but will last and make you have really good hair! im not sure on styling products though?

Do you know of any good hair straighteners that would work for me?

I have the same hair type. I use Aquage polishing spray before i straighten my hair. I also use a CHI straightener. Also, CHI has two good products that come with the straightene. i forgot what they are called but they give heat protection and silkiness. Any CHI products are great.

Hey, - I've got wavy hair too and I'm so impressed with MaxiGlide mini straightener - don't hold it in one spot keep it moving - it's fast and really easy - and vaseline to straighten - it's the basic ingredient in all pomades - don't use too much

Do you know of any good hair straighteners that would work for me?

Try a tourlamine straightener.... they are great, and use a heat protectant.

Do you know of any good hair straighteners that would work for me?

get a chi flat iron or one with 100% ceramic plates. also try using Redkens straightening milk when your hair is damp, then blow dry straight with the pick attachment on a good blow dryer.

Do you know of any good hair straighteners that would work for me?

Help a guy out with his hair . . . . what do you think? (pic)?

I asked a question awhile ago and most people said not to buzz but not what would look good.

French Braiding Hair to Create Waves?

I heard that you can French braid wet hair and leave them in over night to create loose beachy waves. I have never tried this before but I am thinking of doing it tonight. Anyone know the steps I should do?? I'm going to wash my hair then what should I do? Do I spray with a scrunching gel or something and then do 2 French braids? Or what?? How do I do this? lol. And then in the morning when I wake up take them out and what else? spray them or anything?? Thanks!

French Braiding Hair to Create Waves?

Okay i do this all the time. Here are the exact steps. Wash your hair and then brush it. Then get some Aussie mousse. (like Catch the Wave leave in conditioner + mousse). Turn your head upside down with your hair still wet and just mix it in your hair. Then let it dry like about 65%. Make sure some it is very slightly damp. Next make 2 french braids if your hair is thick or do one if your hair is thin. Then go to sleep. And in the morning take the braids out. Viola!

Hope this worked for you. :)

French Braiding Hair to Create Waves?

yes its true ..you dont really have to use gel or anything!it works good even if you use gel..good luck

French Braiding Hair to Create Waves?

I get it done all the time! I actually get a twist set done at my salon. They don't french braid , they twist my hair wet! A lot of people call it flat twist. I don't know what your ethnicity is, but I've done some of my friends hair (different backgrounds) and it helps if you have some sort of product, like gel, or mouse! I'm attaching a link, it gives you step by step directions! Good Luck!

Does this really work for hair growth or is it a myth?

I read this in some blog and was wondering if it really helps hair growth

Massage aloe vera gel over the scalp and leave it for about one hour. After this rinse the hair with warm water. It gives amazing results for hair growth.

its a myth, theres no proven way to make hair grow faster but i dont know why people keep asking these questions!!

Does this really work for hair growth or is it a myth?

i'm not really sure. Most hair growth treatments are a myth, but aloe vera really does do amazing stuff, so i wouldn't be surprised if this was true.

O my goodness, I've heard similar hair myths about everything from mayonnaise to avocado to cocoa butter!

You could try it, but you're gonna walk around smelling pretty weird. Just stick to the regular hair products, and find a line of product that works for you.
